Garageworks is a series of music nights at Bankstown Arts Centre celebrating musicians from the garages and studios of Western Sydney and beyond.
Each event features a diverse cross section of performers from the local community and further afield loosely connected through experimentation across a range of genres.

The eighth in a series of bi-monthly events organised by members of UNSW’s Sound, Energies and Environments group features guest live performances by Splinter Orchestra, Liam Bray & Ben Carey, and Ailsa Liu. Showcasing a diverse range of artists, these performance-focused early evenings present exciting new and experimental works from both emerging, established, local and visiting artists engaged in the expanded domain of contemporary sound practice.

Please join us for our annual celebratory fundraising community garden event from noon for:
* fresh curry leaf bush cuttings, seedlings/plants
for crop swap &/or donation sale.
* food and drink inspired by from what's growing in the garden.
* a twine making demo using readily available plant fibres.
* 2.30pm The Splinter Orchestra will perform throughout the
garden.
